    Hello GD:

    Using GDF Modern Theme

    With last update, on mobile (Android, don’t have apple so not sure),the tabs on the Places Detail page auto opens to “About Us” but the other tabs don’t appear unless you know to click on/touch the “About US” tab then all the tabs are visible again with whichever tab is selected. Before, all avail tabs were visible upon visiting the detail page so visitor knew there was more to be seen. Any easy way to have all tabs visible by default when visiting a Place Detail page?

    Many thanks for your time and any help.

    Hi KB,

    The new tabs were designed to work better on mobile, i have checked and it seems to work ok for me, can you post a link or a screen shot of the problem?

    Thanks,

    Stiofan

    Hello,

    You have a css rule that hides the part that makes that look like a menu

    .fa-bars {
        display: none !important;
    }

    Please remove that and it should help.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan

    Hi Stiofan,

    Removing this only places the menu bars icon before the words “About US” but does not effect the visibility of the other tabs upon initial visit to the places detail page. The other tabs are still not visible until “clicking on” / touching “About Us” tab and then you can see other tabs as before.

    The .fa-bars also make the menu icon in top left of mobile screen visible . . . which I need to have not be seen at all.

    Thank you.

    Yes, that is the idea 🙂

    If you want to change it you could try something like

    #gd-tabs .geodir-tab-head {
         display: block !important;
    }

    Thanks,

    Stiofan

    Ahhh . . . gotcha,

    I am obviously looking with blinders on being it is my site (not thinking this change is better for 99.999% of all the others using GD)… I just have things customized to be viewed as before the change.

    Many thanks, that did the trick for my site and returned it to how I prefer.

    As always, many thanks for your time and help Stiofan, very much appreciated.

    Be Well!
