my plugin has vanished

    I am seriously pissed off. I went to my site today http://www.promotingporthcawl.com/directory/ and my business directory that I spent a long time setting up has just disappeared. The plugin has simply gone. What on earth is going on?

    Hi,

    no need to get pissed off, especially because plugins don’t vanish by themselves. If the plugin is no longer between available plugins, someone must have deleted it from within wordpress or via FTP.

    Even deleting the plugin, doesn’t delete data in the database, so if that is the case you just need to reinstall it and the problem should be solved.

    Otherwise GeoDirectory could be simply sitting there deactivated?

    If you provide admin credentials I’ll have a look.

    I have just been in touch with my hosting provider (Bluehost) and they have confirmed that the plugin has been removed but they say they do not know how this has happened.

    Bluehost have just reinstalled the GeoDirectory plugin and it’s all working again. I’m so happy!
    But I wonder how it got removed! that’s a bit worrying.
