Redirecting user once logged in

    Hi,

    On all our websites we use the GDF>Welcome Login widget in the top right hand corner of the websites. When a user logs in it redirects them to the homepage. Some users do not then know to click on their name to enter their personal dashboard, leaving them confused and eventually giving up. Is there a way once a user logs in they can be immediately redirected to their dashboard?
    We do also use the GD>Login box widget on some pages.

    Doesn’t look like that plugin has been tested with WP version 4.3 yet. Will have to wait. Thanks anyway.

    Is there no way the GDF Login widget can redirect to the users dashboard without having this additional plugin you suggest? Thanks

    Hi,

    we would need to add the same exact funtions used by that plugin, which I just tested again and works perfectly.

    Why doing the job twice if someone did it already?

    Just add:

    http://yoursite.com/author/[variable]userslug[/variable]/?geodir_dashbord=true&stype=gd_place

    To the “All other users” URL and save.

    Hi Paolo,

    I have done as you said, put this url into ‘all other users’ but it gives me a 404 error page.

    http://www.welove-bristol.co.uk/author/variableuserslug/variable/?geodir_dashbord=true&stype=gd_place

    I didn’t change any other settings on the plugin, just simply added into the url. What have I done wrong?

    However, please try to read a plugin documentation too in the future.

    We didn’t do that plugin, we are not supposed to be providing you support for it.
