GeoDirectory allows for a single user to add and edit their own post listings. But once a post listing is created, editing of that post is then restricted for any additional site users besides besides those permissions of delegated adminstration roles. As far as these secondary user or administrator editing roles may extend, the editing of post listings are also limited to working and editing them from within the WordPress back-end admin panel.

Is there any solution or how can GeoDirectory allow for the public creation as well as editing of post listings from the front-end or non-admin panel side?

Similar to the public editing features of Wikipedia.

    Thanks

Add the GD Author Actions widget to your details page sidebar to give a link to the listing owner and admins to edit the listing from the frontend.

    Hi Matt,

Did you find a solution for this? Im looking for the same as you.

Seems like Geodirectory can’t do this – did you find any other plugin?
