Please Explain "Menu Icon" in CPT setup

After 20 minutes of searching documentation and the forum I couldn’t find anything explaining requirements/size usage or anything for ‘Menu Icon’. The url to the icon to be used for this menu.

What menu is that? the map markers?

what size are these supposed to be?

Is there a default?

Hello,

When you create a CPT it adds a new menu item in the wp-admin side menu, this is what that field is for. You can always edit the gd_place CPT and copy the icon url from there if you just want to use the default GD logo.
