Hello, each time a review is left I get redirected to a 404 page. If I go back and refresh the listing, the review does show up, but I don’t know why this is happening.

I also have the Buddypress integration. Shouldn’t the profiles be accessible by the user’s avatar/name within the reviews comments? I would like members to have the ability to view the profiles of other members, the profiles are accessible through the “Members” page, but I would think that it would be integrated into the reviews as well. I’ve tried to access this post, but I am blocked from it – even if I have purchased the Buddypress add-on :

I know that is possible using the Whoop theme, and probably not any others.
I’ll get Paolo to have a look at your question.

Thank you. Please inquire about the 404 page when reviews are left as well.

The latest update of the multi-rating add-on seems to have corrected the 404 issue.

However, the reviews still do not connect to the profile pages.

    Hi,

I think this is also due to the updates made on the comment system of WordPress 4.4.

I’ll ask to the developer to have a look at it and fix it.

We’ll let you know as soon as it’s done.

    Thanks

Hi, I have checked my site, but I don’t see any change at all in this functionality. Can you please clarify on what issue was fixed? Thank you.

Iam really sorry, I didn’t read the comment from our developer with attention.

Basically this is not possible without a customization.

Linking avatar and commenter name to bp members profile is required customization. Our Whoop theme has already this customization so avatar and commenter name links to the bp profile page.

Also current commenter name linking to the url if user as value available for field “Website” under Admin -> Users -> Edit User -> Website
So if user has added Website then it will be taken as a comment author url during posting comments.

Please check comments on this page http://whomadethese.com/lucky2/places/united-states/hawaii/kahului/attractions/the-liberty-bell-center/

I posted comments after my website value updated to http://whomadethese.com/lucky2/members/kiran/
So Kiran linking to the http://whomadethese.com/lucky2/members/kiran/ page which is comment author page.

And check this comment was posted before my website value updated – http://whomadethese.com/lucky2/wordpress-resources-at-siteground/

    Please let me know.

The customization must be made at theme level.

    Thanks

Okay I’ll ask the team at Kleo. They say that their theme is compatible with this plugin so that functionality should work.

I’ll test out the activity issue and let you know if I continue to see any issues.

    Thank you very much.

Sorry I have one more question regarding reviews. Can we limit one review per listing so we don’t have members posting multiple times for the same place?

    Hi,

no there is no such option…

In most review sites users can publish more than 1 review, example in case they visit a place again and no longer like it like they liked it the 1st time…

You’d probably moderate comments if you want to prevent abuses.

    Thanks

    Okay, thank you.

Could you have someone look into replying to my “claim this” post? It sort of ties into the functionality that I am hoping to implement.
