blank comment

    Hi,

    In the review/rating page, I want to allow user to rate with blank comment, I found many hours, still cannot found any code handling it, please help if know, thanks a lot!

    I don’t think that is possible. Those reviews are using the wordpress comment system and that does not allow blank comments. I’ll get Paolo to have a look at your question too.

    Hi,

    Guust is correct, you cannot add reviews without a text content.

    You should discard the following code:

    if ( ” == $comment_content ) {
    wp_die( __( ‘ERROR: please type a comment.’ ), 200 );
    }

    Hi,

    no it is not allowed, you have to remove core code from WordPress, which is a very bad practice.

    Next update you’ll have to do it again.
