    Hello, I’m having problem with my city navigation Menu, image is attached. And a few questions appeared concerning this problem.

    1. Is there a way to make City Navigation background the right size?

    2. Can I have city navigation as a widget somewhere on a page, rather than a menu item?

    3. Is there a way to make GD remember the user’s selection? I know it remembers when I click allover the GD items, but when I click somewhere other than gd plugin, for example on a members directory, it forgets my location and I have to set it in again.

    4. I would like to place NEAR ME button, that is available as a widget, on the maps guide, instead of TITLE INPUT (image 2 is attached). Is there an easy way to do it?

    1. You need to adjust some CSS for that.

    2. Yes, you can add the shortcode in a widget:

    3. I don’t think that is possible, I’ll check with the others too.

    4. Not that I know off. I’ll check with the others.

    OK, thanks. I guess I’ll just go with shortcodes.
    Btw, how can I insert a shortcode in a widget area? Do I need a plugin for that?

    You can in text widgets after you add this line into functions.php of your theme:

    add_filter('widget_text', 'do_shortcode');

    Normally widgets don’t parse shortcodes.
