Hi there – brand new to using GeoDirectory and a novice user on WordPress.
I have figured out some stuff such as editing the homepage (GeoDirectory is my homepage) but having issues around how to edit the “locations” page. I specifically mean the page that loads with the business information. Mine is all broken up with stuff all over the place (brand new install) so I figure I must have done something or it comes “out of the box” this way. For the homepage, I go to Appearance–>Customize but I can’t find a way to change this for the locations page in particular?
Unrelated, how do I setup a site menu (like at http://wpgeo.directory) where I can send visitors to specific areas of the site?
Finally, I though that GeoDirectory was SEO friendly out of the box however I am getting URL’s like http://www.test.com/?gd_place=xxxx . I checked for .htaccess files in the web directory and there are none – do I need to add a plugin for SEO to be enabled?
I have almost all plugins installed and am using the Childtheme.
thanks,
Paul
