Upgrading to recent release seems to have fixed the problem.
Should have upgraded a few days earlier.

No it did not.
Still only 3 locations in GeoDirectory – see attached image.Refreshing the category location counts:
(a) does not update the counts displayed in GeoDirectory
(b) it merely creates new entries in the database without region and country slugs
(c) renaming (location_name) in database will update the Geodirectory counts
(d) the process just repeats itselfHow do I get out of this loop?
I only see 3 locations in “Manage Locations”, so nothing to merge.
I renamed the incorrect location (location_name) in the database and it seemed to work.
Now, it has created 3 more locations just like before. I have 3 entries for each location.Row 5 is still unchanged.
Renaming again makes the categories and counts appear correctly.Renamed the offending location_names to test and everything works.
So OK to delete dodgy entries.Problem still exists.
Added a few listing for another 2 cities.
Nothing shows up in the “Popular Post” Popular categories widget (shows total blank)
But you can see the entries below.

Waited a day – nothing shows.At the mySQL backend I see double entries for the cities in table geodir_term_meta.
Hoping that deleting those containing old data (6,7,8) will fix the problem.
Instances 1,2,3 seems to contain the correct data.Is it safe to do so?
I did that several times even after long wait in between – made no difference.

Now, I can see and change the Template for the Page.How do I add the RHS sidebar as in the “Demo About Us” page.
I can see the Page Attributes section in the RHS bar
But no sign of where to change the template.
Seems to be hidden.
