any luck? if we can salvage what we have on this new installation that would be great as it would save us a lot of work we have done since the move on the directory. thanks guys.

Hey one other thing, Events are being used for Deals as well which are attached to listings. So, can we rename the tab in the details page to Events & Deals? I tried to do it in the custom post type settings for events but no change on front end tab.
As well, can we filter listings based on ones that have events / deals?
And, is there a way to add an event / deals class in the list of results for a category, i think we are calling that a listings page… eg. <li class=”clearfix geodir-listview gd-post-pkg-6 gd-post-gd_place gd-post-featured”> so just like gd-post-featured we need one that says “post-deals” so that i can style that with a little banner as well?

Scratch that. i had to enable the event pricing package, not the listing package. Thanks, resolved.
Doing this from back end.
1. Please first check in your packages if the link to business is enabled see attach 1
YES, i have event link to business enabled for the highest level package. There are three packages that dont allow it, but one that does. I have one listing in the highest level.
2. Then in the edit page (BACKEND) check if in screen options, business is enabled (attach 2)
DO you mean the listing page or the event page? I dont see those options in either of those, nor in regular pages.
3. Then you’ll find the option in the edit page (attach 3)

Coo, thanks for the info. So i spoke with godaddy and their caching cant be turned off just FYI but IF install my own caching plugin (which i usually do) it will automatically disable their caching system. WP Super Cache i have used to cache dynamic sites in the past. It has fine tuning available for dynamic pages and lots of other stuff. Do you have any recommendations or gotcha’s that i should be aware of specific to this plugin?

Can I create a user from back end, then add a new listing and assign to that user from the back end or should all this happen in front end as though we were the user?
