There is a very small subset that still has this Featured area visible. Could it be because they are related UsersWP?
Is there a way to get rid of this subset too?

Yes. I want to remove the entire container for all of the rest of the pages. But just want to keep the Homepage as is – With container, background image, search & popular categories.

Sounds good! Just a couple more questions related to this topic…
Q1. If I were to hire a Developer to do this Custom Development work(It’s a budgetary decision…) Would it be a Major Development? Or a Minor One?Q2. How easy would it be to Setup a Custom Chron Job at 5AM? (Again …Is MAjor or Minor dev work required?)
Assuming I get the Scenario 3 Custom developed I still have the issue about a Past Event being marked as ‘Upcoming’ due to how the Chron jobs are only scheduled at Midnight.See pic below:

So basically even after the Event Ends at 1:00AM. There will be a period of 23hrs that the website will show Incorrect information about Event as ‘Upcoming’.(Because Chron Job2 runs on its regular schedule at the MIDNIGHT)I’m trying to trick the system by adding a Custom Chron Job at 5AM, so that the PAst Event that ended at 1AM will be updated from ‘Upcoming’ to ‘Past’
Q3. Is this Custom Chron Job at 5AM a good idea? Or can you suggest any other Tricks/Workarounds for this?

Will this require a Major change in the GD Events data structure on your end? Or a minor one?

I just wanted you to understand and be clear where I am coming from…
I am TOTALLY invested in GD with my website and want to ensure that its the best Directory solution out there!
I am just providing feedback on what I see (as my opinion) with my specific scenario that I am facing an issue with (My Personal Analysis could be Wrong or Right!)
I am just using FB Events as an example and is in now way whatsoever any criticism of GD as a comparison to FB….
I really appreciate your patience with me thus far….And hopefully you will bear with me a bit longer with this analysis to its logical end…With that said and out of the way let me state my case once again with a better explanation using examples below…..
As per our discussions in the earlier posts here are 3 possible scenarios
Please note these following scenarios are MANUALLY Entered as GD Events and are unrelated to FB whatsoever.Scenario 1: Existing GD Events Functionality

How do I accomplish this? During my testing I see no way of accomplishing this with the curent GD Events functionality. Please could you suggest the 4 fields that would help me attain this result. If I am making any incorrect assumptions please let me know. Thanks.
