I am not aware of any other changes made to your site, and these changes would/should not have been made during a plugin update.

1. You can read here about how to add CSS and PHP snippets to your GD site: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-your-style/ . We recommend the code snippets plugin. With PHP snippets they can be added as a code snippet or added into the functions.php file of your site’s active theme. It is a member submitted snippet and your mileage may vary.

2. It is a member submitted snippet; we are unable to help with customizations here in the forum.

3. There are no settings for that, so it would be a customization.

4. This is not a feature of GD. You can disable comments for specific users by using hooks. You can use hook “comments_open” to disable comments for the owner. You have to write logic so the code is only executed on the detail page & only accoriding to your criteria. See https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/hooks/comments_open/

5. This is not a feature of GD and would require customization.

6. There are some options for this included with WordPress, and altering those criteria would be a customization.

Please make sure that you’ve included billing in your Google MAP API account. The trial has a very low limit. GeoDirectory requires a functional Map API. If you do not intend to complete setup of Google Maps, you could use Open StreetMap instead.

/events/ slug is reserved for the GD Events addon and that event page. Setting another page to that slug will cause a conflict. I reset your WP Page to events-list and it seems to work now, take a look.

About adding events from the frontend, there is a setting that needs to be adjusted at:

GeoDirectory – Design – Navigation – Allow post type to add from frontend

Set ‘Events’ here if you want to alow them to be added from the frontend.

That is correct. Ass addons are made compatible with V2, the newly compatible versions are made available for download in your account on this site. They are marked with a Version 2.0+ in the link.
