Have you already tried adding a badge to the GD Archive Item template?
Why aren’t you using the WP Page for the GD Details template?
If you want you can post your template code here for the developers to take a look.
I can see the ones I looked up, in my reply above, are working. Looks like you can leave those in place and let us know if you run into any issues with this.
Future uploads through the add listing page will go into the appropriate folders, the year/month folders.
You can add a color to a category, then export, then bulk edit and import.
I will ask the developers about this, but, I think you should first disable the ReCaptcha on the add-listing form. You don’t need 2 ReCaptcha on the same page, and that isn’t supported by Google either. You should only load it once per page.

to use the GD Output location, you need to edit the Custom Field for the Linked Post field, identify “Show in extra output locations” and choose “Listings”.

The placeholder value shows for the user when they load the form, then disappears when they place their cursor to make the field active.
You can choose either a default value or a placeholder. A default value would be saved with the listing, but a placeholder would leave the field empty on save if no value has been added.
