Hello,
the options at GeoDirectory – Design – Navigation did not allow posting places. Since you have the Custom Post Type addon you will need to provide a link directly to the CPT add listing page.
Hello,
there are settings for which CPTs can be added from the frontend at:
GeoDirectoy – Design – Navigation
It is called : geodirectory-compatibility.php
Here’s a link: https://github.com/GeoDirectory/supreme-directory/blob/master/inc/geodirectory-compatibility.php
It is inside the /inc/ folder
Hello,
The size of those icons is controlled by Google and our themes don’t have any settings for that at this time.
There are several ways to customize it, though: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/7916555/custom-google-map-api-v3-zoom-buttons
Yes, but we can help with that.
Please provide the page URL and we will take a look.
I am not aware of any option to get around that.
August 15, 2018 at 4:23 pm in reply to: Best way to restrict access to "Events" to only paid Listings #442518Hello,
GeoDirectory doesn’t come with an explicit option to allow that.
There are several ways to achieve it or something similar, though, with customization or 3rd party plugins.
For users to add an event, they will need to click on some form a link to “Add Event”. One common strategy is to show that link to only logged in users. CSS can be used to hide something from users that are not logged in.
Here are some forum topics that you can look at to get some ideas.

https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/multiple-listings-per-price-package/Hello,
that is called the “Custom Post Types” selector and you can find CSS to hide it here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/common-styling-examples/#cpt-selectorIf you hide it, though, then visitors won’t be able to choose to switch their search between events and places.
4. I spoke too soon. I tried a couple more settings and was able to recreate this.
4. I tried to recreate this but could not. If you run across it again and found a way to recreate please do repost and let us know.
Please write back with the URL of the site so I can check out #2 above.
1. OK, yes, geocoding with Google will fail and will get a “Request Denied” error if the key is not setup completely. The error may be “Request Denied” or something else, they seem to be changing the error messages and links each week.
3. This error is also explained by the API key setup. Incomplete API key means geocoding for dummy data will also be met with a request denied error.
2. I was not able to recreate this. When I clicked through a category on the location page I was able to see listings. It could be that your default location was completely blank. How did you set your default location, eventually. With OSM?
You can try both, and use the one that works best for you.
Hello! Thank you for reporting your findings here!
I will address your points briefly and ask for a reply so we can attempt to recreate the issues you have identified. We are testing using the Primer theme.
1. Could you please share the address you used?
Are you using an API key that is completely functional with billing info etc?
The screenshot error is what we have seen recently when the Google API key is not setup correctly/completely.Hello,
I opened a detail page and viewed source and didn’t see ‘No Records Found. Sorry, no records were found. Please adjust your search criteria and try again.’
You can also try clearing the GD Booster cache.
If the issue persists, please share a URL and a screenshot so we can see where to look to see the issue.
If it is resolved now, perhaps it was a cache issue. Cache should be cleared when there are major updates to the site.
