When I search ‘somerset’ I see lot’s of results, now.
For example, which listing is missing from the result?
Please send over updated login credentials if we need to look at the settings.
I cannot seem to upload more than one for the logo field on the front or backend.

Yes, there is a “Category+Location” description near the bottom of each category edit page.
For place categories, for example, go to
Place Categories – Edit (choose a category) – Category Top Description – Uncheck “Use description of default for all locations”
Then various options will present in the lower part of the form for custom descriptions for each location.
Please post the URL of that page (in a private reply if you like) .

Have you added any additional plugins that are not from Geodirectory that might cause the conflict?

I don’t want a default image to be used for images under place or category, just a proportion of listings that come under place but covering numerous catagories. Does that make sense? I’ve tried looping back to grab an image from Gallery, but I can only seem to grab images off my computer that then stores then individually per listing under Gallery?
There are only options for all images, or for a group of listings when they are grouped as a category or a CPT. Images are not stored in the media library, so 3rd party plugins or code that manipulates the featured image will not work with GD listings.
Can you say specifically what the listings have in common? Is it a custom field, or some other value that they share to identify which ones would get the image? If you have code that you are working on you can paste it here with
markup.
Is there a widget I can use to give an overview of recent blogs on the GD Landing Page?
Wordpress has a “recent posts” widget for blog entries that can be added to one of the GD Home widget areas.

If you are using an image file field for the logo in the Places Custom fields, where do you want to show the logo? Sidebar?
Have you already set the logo fields values for “show in what locations” to sidebar and tried to upload a test?
What else are you trying to achieve?
