Hello,
Please share a search result URL and describe the issue. Also share WP Admin in case we need to check the settings.
The category (CPT Category archive) page example: https://wpgeo.directory/supreme-directory/places/attractions/
GDV1 works with WP Permalinks set to “Post Name”, so, *.*”.html” is not an option, generally.
There aren’t any other settings to get a category count, only the widgets mentioned.

Please see this topic:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/show-date-of-review/#post-336348Hello,
the search showing in your screenshot is not a ‘Near’ search, but an ‘IN’ search, a search that will result in showing all/only the listings IN that area.
Hello,
The field was set to Ajax chained, but, was not loading that UI; it seems that value was being cached.
Resaving the field settings brought the UI back and the snippet works now.
Please try it and let us know
May 1, 2018 at 4:59 am in reply to: How can I customize the way pricing packages are displayed? #428576Hello,
information about customizing templates is here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-geodirectory-templates/
This would be the template: add-listing.php
Instead of customizing the template, you could also go a different route:
Hide the price package options with CSS
Create a pricing page that does what you want it to do
Link directly to the appropriate CPT/package optionThe second route is more common and ‘future proof’ because it is generally independant of GD and does not require maintaining customized templates.

Hi Graeme,
that depends a lot on which theme you are using. It must be a GD theme, right? Which one?
Let us know and also you can send over WP Admin details in case we need to check your settings.
1. Payment Manager Expiry Notifications – Dynamic text can be translated using the Custom Field Translation method – https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translating-custom-fields/
2. Events widget – There are some strings in the Event manager. There is a bug with the “Interested” widget. Please reply with WP Admin, Site URL, and FTP Information and we can patch the event manager plugin to allow translation of the widget.
3.Translate English – yes, you can make changes to the en_US file and save and it will reload also. If changes are for dynamic text, then it can also be accomplished with the custom field translation method.
Hello,
I have added a page aaa/aaa-2
With the following shortcodes:
[gd_advanced_search] [gd_login_box] [gd_cpt_categories] [gd_location_switcher]These shortcodes, and especially the login box, can give you the links you need.
Try clicking to add a listing of any particular CPT and then use that URL in a custom menu link.
To get the CPT add links to show up, please visit the following setting and select all CPTs that you want to allow to be added from the front end
Geodirectory – Design – Navigation – Allow post type to add from frontend
You will be able to keep all of your listings, and will have to adjust some widget settings, right.
🙂
1. Yes, and it will be necessary to adjust some widget settings.
2. Not at this time, no. -
