This is what I added (in the address field) before publish. But this is on my XAMPP system with OSM. And the pic is showing the result after publishing.
Okay. I will test it. It is showing the backend “add place” page. In the debug section you can see that the original input field had a value with “Callowhill…”. But during loading your script is changing this to “Philadephia”.
I will check if language settings are a source of the problem. I’m on windows with german language.
Best,
DirkDo you set any encoding or language settings?
I made some pics, alreay thought I added them…
On my local installation with OSM I’m guessing that a script is overriding the address???
I will setup a XAMPP installation here in the meantime.
This reply has been marked as private. It has nothing to do with the user. I even cannot add with the GD user correctly (see my last test).

Console after placing the marker. Undefined?
Yes, is filled. See pics. After hitting publish then it is empty.
I’m on chrome 64. But also check with IE.What I’m doing is:
1) click on Add Place
2) Type the place title
3) Select category
4) Move the pin on the map to get an address
5) hit publishIs there anything special I need to do, because all my tries ended in location unknown.
weird. I added another one from backend with the same result…
Let me check with another user…I made a forth installation of WP. Just installed WP and GeoDir. Wizard. This time I kept Philadelphia as default location, imported the sample data and the result is still the same. Locations of the sample data is unkown as shown in the pic of my last post.
