So, what do I need to do?
April 25, 2019 at 2:08 pm in reply to: Event dates and type not displaid in archive and bubble #482833Yes, I do – in order to show the address in the side bar in the for Germany correct order.
In the top section:
[gd_post_address show=”icon-value” address_template=”%%street_br%%%%zip%% %%city%%” alignment=”left”]And the output location widget in the side bar, see screenshot.
On the item page the dates and type of the event is displaid. Just not in GD Archive and Map bubble.

BirgitAh, great! It worked.
I have added that one to my routines after updates 🙂thank you
BirgitAh, I had forgotten about that one 🙂
Perfect – thanks.
BirgitHello there,
after our latest posts regarding this everything was fine:
On the lefthand side GD Archive page displayd only a certain number of listings with pagination. On the right the map displaid ALL listings of this CPT.
For some reason now the map – again – only shows the listings which are displaid on the left, not more. What can I do to make the map display ALL listings of a CPT (without loosing pagination on the lefthand side)?
Best regards

I am trying to understand what you mean …
When a user on the front page in the main search bar chooses a category and klicks the search button, this will take him to the search page where all the search results are shown. Right? And as a user at this stage, I would expect to be able to find some sorting options in order to sort my search results. However, from your message I understand that on the search page for some reason sorting options are generally never displaid at all. Right?
In order to have sorting options, the user must choose a category from a widget or some navigation in the main menue – but NOT via the main search bar. Is that correct?
If this is correct, this doesn’t really seem logic to me.
Anyway, I will see what I can do with the shortcodes.
Thank you guys so far for your patience.
Best regards
BirgitHello Kiran,
sorry, I do not understand your message, maybe because I am not a developer 🙁Post types and categories in my system are always the same. Every post type has only one category, named exactly like the respective post type.
Just now I oppened my website from a different computer and the matter is still the same.
When a user chooses a category/post type and klicks the search button he comes to the archive page where
– the map still does not show all listings but only the ones listed on the lefthand side.
– no sorting options are displaid to the user.Map with all listings and sorting options are only displaid if the user types the name of the CPT/category into the address field of the browser – which no user will ever do.
So what can I do to achieve it that the user sees all listings on the map as well as the sorting options?
Many thanks
BirgitGood to know. Many thanks 🙂
Hi Guust,
this is so weird, and I am really sorry for bothering you guys all the time …I have cleared all caches in the browser, I do not run any cache-plugins and I do not have a Host-managed site.
And still… Only when I manually type the name of the category into the address field of the browser, it is fine and I can see your changes – and they look just as I want them. (see screenshot one)
But as soon as I navigate to that archive page by choosing the category in the search bar and klicking the search button, no changes can be seen and there is this really long address in the address field of the browser (see screenshot 2).
Why is it like this despite all the cache-clearing?
How can I make sure that users do not need to type category names in the browser address field in order to see those functionalities?Sorry and
many thanks, Guust and Alex, for all your help.Hi Guust,
this looks so perfect 🙂
Is this implemented on my site now? Just wundering, because when I enter my site, it still looks as before. Many thanks for all this support
