Another question would be:
How to create a new form that mimics the one in the header?I cannot seem to find an edit or delete option so I will just keep on updating and posting as I go… For now I opted to use the Code Snippets plugin since setting grandchild themes is a really bad practice according to most WordPress authorities, plus it rises more issues than it solves since I would have to reference both the child and parent theme codes and make sure to be using everything in the right order, etc.
An example of a customization I would like to do is:
Changing the “near” input field in the home page header to a dropdown select with pre-set state choices.I guess I could use a plugin like Code Snippets to edit some of the stuff in the functions.php, but what about the template files themselves? Are there any available hooks or filters to get into the templates from there? If so, where can I look for them?
