Thanks, that sounds really easy, except there is no option to exclude anything but Business Hours, Special Offers, Featured and Images…
Ok, this is a bit frustrating, and I’m probably going about things the wrong way. I want to show phone numbers and emails and website only on Featured and premium listings, but cannot work out how to show details on one package type but not all of them.
Please advise, the documentation really isn’t clear to me at all.Thanks, that seems to have done the trick.
And the same applies to all widgets I use, where ever I use them. This makes my Best of Widgets look terrible and either I have to rewrite all of my listings (which still makes them horrible when the entire text is run down a long thin column when they click READ MORE). I’m probably missing something, and apologies for conflating so many issues, but this is the one that I really really need help with.
Sorry, I feel like we are missing each other completely. My problem is simple. I want to have a description on my Detail Page, and no description on the listings in the widget, best of or anywhere else. If I de activate Description on Output Locations Settings, it kills the description and Profile tab on the detail page…
Thanks for the pointers to shortcode builder, but it really doesn’t help my issue. Maybe I’m being stupid, but this is ridiculous.
If no description on every instance of what I want as just an image link with name, then no Profile Tab on Detail Listing. If detail page has Profile Tab and description, then every instance of Best of or GD>Listings etc includes a paragraph that I don’t want.

GD Description Active – show the description in the sidebar that I don’t want, but at least it has the Profile Tab on the actual listing main section
GD Description Not Active – does not show the description of each listing (perfect) also does not show the Profile Tab on the Detail main section…
GD Description active box is what I tick that gives me either of 2 options that I don’t actually want…Where is the control function to allow me to have a Profile Tab and description on the Detail page, without including it all over my other widgets, or vice versa.
Please don’t worry about the Get Directions thing, I am using the one from the widgets panel, not the one from the Outputs Location widget settings, which does not work (for me anyway)
GD widgets also seem only to work if I set the Page Attributes to GD Template, ok got it.
Please tell me how to show description for Detail page (Profile Tab), and not on the Sidebar and every other instance of that listing.
Ok, my GD V2 widgets are not working on Front page or other non GD pages, despite settings to Show Everywhere – hence no map on Front page or anywhere except designated GD pages…

The description issue – I can’t show GD>Listings without a full description showing as per previous pics. If I disable description in Settings, I lose the entire Profile Tab, as per images…

The Get Directions feed in the Output Locations doesn’t work, so I’m using the GD>Locations widget in the sidebar to get it.
Sorry if I sound like I complain a lot, but I’m hoping that my feed back will be useful to both of us…
OK, GD Top widget space only works on GD pages… V1 allowed you to use widgets on any page, I have checked SHOW EVERYWHERE but still only applies on GD pages, which my front page apparently isn’t…
Also can’t see any widgets (map, listings etc) in the GD Top widget space. GD>Map GD>Listings, Categories widgets all tested, no appearance on the actual page http://www.clarensnews.co.za or anywhere else. Is there an issue with the widget areas?

2 – In my sidebar I have the GD Directions widget, which works, but the Get Directions Custom Field from the Outputs Location is a dead link (I’ve tried them both)
3 – If Description check box in setting is active then it shows up on sidebar and Detail page as Tab Profile which is more text than I want in my widget. If Description not active then widget looks fine, but not Profile tab or description as per image below…I’m sure you’re getting bored with me, but the issue seems to be a conflict between GD Listings and GD Outputs. I have hidden the Listings, and now the Outputs are visible.
In fact, I don’t seem to be using the Output Location widget properly, I just moved it up and down the list and I can’t actually see it… It is listed as Outputs Location>Details page Sidebar, but doesn’t seem to show. That relates to issue 3.

1 Can’t remove opacity filter from header image. Tried CSS in Customize, but no joy
2 Directions don’t work – Get Directions button is not activated…
3 If I remove the Description Custom Field (because I don’t want the full text in my sidebar) then the entire Profile Tab disappears, and I can’t seem to do one without the other.
