Yes it is working now, thank you.
Its not working with my chrome, I have disabled adblock and all extensions.
It works with firefox and other browsers though, just incase you want to check, my google chrome details are below.
Version 59.0.3071.115 (Official Build) (64-bit)

I have tried it on Safari/Firefox and chrome and the same issue happens, even on my mobile on 4G.
When I change custom post type on the advanced search form the compass icon disappears.

Also when I change category on the advanced search, the get location arrow icon disappears?
Is there a way to get this below the text box on the search page and not have it “on click” to show the dropdown panel?

Yes it works in Firefox and internet explorer, but not Chrome.

I will check them, but there is no checkbox in the backend of geodirectory for advanced editor for updates section, but there are for the other two textearea blocks?

Sorry you are correct it is the updates section.
and it is on the hotels custom post type
Just an update on this, I have three textarea fields in the add listing section.
Only 2/3 of them show up with the advanced editor. The last one (latest updates) does not.
In the back end of the website, there is no option to show advanced editor for this custom field.
