How do I add the Places’ Categories I want to show?

Where does one ADD the categories one wants to display in the CPT Categories Widgets E.G CPT PLACES?

1. I do not believe I have made any changes to style.css nor functions.php as I don’t know what they are and I do not venture to make changes when I do not know what I am doing… however just to be sure I have not IS THERE A WAY TO CHECK THIS?

2. I thought I had saved my FTP details/credential, but can not find them… I will have to call GoDaddy on Monday to get them. I will post them after you reply to the above question…
