    Hi Stiofan

    Sorry for the delay and thank you for responding to my post.

    I used locations as an example but from what you have said it was a poor one.

    Quite simply I have half a dozen custom post types that will all have over 100,000 entries.

    I just wanted to know if I would speed up my site if I had a separate database for each custom post type so the information on the site does not rely on one database source.
