For some reason that I do not understand, although the language of the geodirectory complement is translated, when translating a string again it does not recognize the new text. Although it is translated into Spanish from the previous translation.
I think it may be the same problem as the word ¨Event¨, which I still do not get to appear in SpanishHi.
Apart from the translation that is already practically corrected in its entirety, I need your help please.The web that I am designing is a search engine for therapists and work centers.
The only way I have found to differentiate them has been with a BuddyPress profile, since it is linked to GeoDirectory* Is there any way to differentiate, in Places, between people and work centers? Or would I have to make a new section different to places and events?
* Could it show on a page, a list exclusively of members of a certain role (for example “Author”)?
* Could you add a text field that is linked to ¨hasn’t written any reviews just yet.¨ for the user to indicate their description here ?. When entering a user profile and encounter this gives a very bad impression.
* The therapists will write the post as author.
Can all the entries of the same author be displayed on a page?
A plugin author box allows me that function but it seems that with this theme it seems that it is not possible.It works well. Thank you very much
This is what I have been told about BuddyPress support:
I don’t think I can advise you. BuddyPress does not some built in with a personal description. You can add one, in Dashboard>>Users>>Profile Fields, and it would be displayed during signup and in the users Profile>>View page. However, that’s not the default landing page for a profile, so it looks like your theme is overloading the users profile, and I think your theme developers would be best placed to ask.
Okay, thank you very much.
So that the user can enter a description or comment of the profile as it could solve it?Sorry, in this I was wrong: ¨In addition to the translation, there is no button to mark that I am interested in the event.¨
The buttons do appear but it’s all in English
* Translation
As I was saying, what I want to translate is the complement of events. The geodirevents.po file is already translated into the Spanish language saved as es_ES but for some reason it does not work.On the next event page you can check how the interested widget appears in English: https://agendaholistica.es/events/medicina-natural-y-terapias-alternativas-1/sexualidad-consciente/
In addition to the translation, there is no button to mark that I am interested in the event.
* Profile Comments
When I inspect the page, it tells me the box id = “whoop_no_reviews” so I guess it depends more on the whoop theme than on BuddyPress.It seems important to me because the user will have to indicate some description in some way.
* Tabs
OK I’ll keep trying.* Translate Widget “Interested”
I have attached the information images to check how the geodirevents-es_ES.po add-on is translated and it is now uploaded to the folder that indicated / www / wp-content / languages / plugins
Could you tell me where the user would have to write to have his or her comment or description appear in the profile area that says “has not written any reviews just yet”.
* Re-order tabs
The code snippet you are trying to save produced a fatal error on line 67:
Cannot redeclare geodir_detail_page_tab_list_extend() (previously declared in /home/tuagendaoa/www/wp-content/themes/GeoDirectory_whoop/functions/general.php:4)
*Translate “Interested” Widget
It is translated and does not work when you upload it to / www / wp-content / languages / plugins.
It does not work either when uploading to /www/wp-content/plugins/geodir_event_manager/gdevents-languages.The button where you should mark that you are interested or will attend will not appear either.
* The stars and comments needed to be configured and is now fixed. Thank you
* Re-order Tabs in a listing detail page I have not known how to do it. I added it to the funtions.php file in / www / wp-content / themes / GeoDirectory_whoop but it gave me an error. I do not know if something needs to be done with geodirectory-functions / custom_functions.php: geodir_detail_page_tabs_array () [Line: 1393]
* And most importantly, the Widget Marking interested I have added it to the details page but there is no button for those interested.
It has not been translated although the string is in geodirectory_framework.po which is correctly translatedI think I’ve already translated everything, but I’ll keep looking.
Apart from that I need to solve the other problems that I have raised.
* It puts 0 interested, but there is no option on the event page to mark who is interested in going.
Even if I mark an event as a favorite, neither Events appear on the Favorites tab (https://agendaholistica.es/members/serconsciente/events/)* Translate or remove the posters of “FEATURE” and “NEW” of the post. ( https://agendaholistica.es/ )
* Sort selected tabs from the detail page so you can see the description and events first.
* Do not post comments. Keep counting 0 even if you make a comment.
* I have installed the Review Rating Manager plugin but the stars do not appear to mark.
I am looking forward to your response. Thank you
The word Event continues to appear in English although it is translated.
Hi. Everything is almost translated, although I still have some details to solve:
* In the Events section of the Buddypress profile, English texts appear and I do not know which string it belongs to.
And it puts 0 interested, but there is no option on the event page to mark who is interested in going.
* I have installed the Review Rating Manager plugin but the stars do not appear to mark.
I am looking forward to your response. Thank you
