i really appreciate you really take look into this issue. but I did not really understood what you mean.
basically, i did a testing and issue still same.

1. I add excerpt on the first listing, it shows empty on listing page
2. on 2nd listing, there is no excerpt and description limit sets to 500, but it shows 22 chars.neither of them makes sense. Did i misunderstand anything? from my point of view, it seems mulfuction for excerpt and description chars counts.
pls advise.

may I know where to change the ‘words number’?
Has your developer change any of the code? as I found the description display is different as the screenshot (and I did not change anything on my side for these two days)
and also, I created one new school Appleby and entered my excerpt, unfortunately, excerpt does not show up.

This reply has been marked as private.@md, thank you for your info. current server is testing server and i have a few production server which is more powerful. but I am quite keen on your website in terms of revamp, UI. we may have discussion and exchange some ideas how certain feature we have made on each site later on… keep in touch 🙂
looks this issue can be reproduced every time,
on the details page, click back to listing page and click details page again (immediately), the error shows up. It looks system is loading something uncompleted while user clicks on the details page, then message pops up. it is javascript error in some functions i guess. hopefully you may have a quick fix on this. thank youpls see video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HxIATNydYQ0

this code removes ‘edit’ link which I reported the issue previously. Now I remember that I had copied the code and made the edit disappears.
I already put this code on my site, and edit link gone. pls check.
Is there a way still keeps ‘Edit’ link but removes favorite?
