About the name “Insert Bar” I think the right name is Search Bar as you wroteI see the bag , and I tested it with different computers.
I attached the whole sequence made of 4 steps
1- Home page
2- open the selection list of the categories
3- select Attractions
4- the Search bar disappears and a “0” caracter appearsCiao Giacomo
Hi Stiofan, sorry If I write you again.
I think the file geodirectory.min.js , that I uploaded this morning, fixed the current topic, but introduced an other issue.
In fact now we have a problem with the insert bar in the HOme page and in the search page.
I tried in both of situations, log in and log out, and I cleaned the browser and server cache.
The probleme is:
1- go to home page curiocity.travel
2-select from the selection list ( in the middle of the slideshow) the category “Attractions” or “Artworks”.
3- try to type in the field “What”
4- the insert bar disappearsThen I uploaded the previous (yesterday version) version of the file geodirectory.min.js , I cleaned my browser and all the geodirectory caches , and the Insert Bar worked properly.
Finally I uploaded again the new version of the file geodirectory.min.js and the problem above described came again
Currently is running on the server the new version of the file geodirectory.min.js to allow you to see the issue regarding the Insert Bar.thanks a lot for your collaboration.

about this file /wp-content/plugins/geodirectory/geodirectory-functions/general_functions.php
I copied a beckup version (septembre the 20th 2016) I have. The web site now is working!!
Now I have set the Witing rights to all the files in the directory
/wp-content/plugins/geodirectory/geodirectory-functionsin order to allow you to fixe the original issue.
Generally, we can not write a file by using Ftp because of the writing rights. So I have to change the Writing rights for each file we are going to modify.
Please, give me the list of further files You need to modify or the list of the directories.thanks a lot

I replaced the file geodirectory_functions.php at the following path
/wp-content/plugins/geodirectory
Is it the right path?
Now, we can write the file in the server folder by using FTP . We added the Writing Rights.
Anyway the web site is still not working. We can download only the Home page.

unfortunately we have to solve this problem as soon as possible.
I’m writing to give you more information to solve the problem.
In fact we also had a second problem, which we solved.
This second problem may be related to the first main problem.-SECOND PROBLEM Fixed-
The English version of the GD Detail elements GD Detail show the linked picture element,
while other versions (FRA, ITA, GER, POR, SPA, RUS) did not show the picture related to GD Detail element.This problem happend only to the elements of the categories created in 2015, “Museums”,
“Artworks” and “Attractions”, while the problem did not happen to other categories created recently in 2016.We noticed that the image of the English version of a GD Detail element (“Museums”,
“Artworks” and “Attractions” categories) was linked to the image folder wp-content / uploads / 2015/08 and
it properly worked , while the version in other languages did not worked because it had a link to a
wrong folder wp-content / uploads / 2015/09. (watch out the final 09)

We simply copied the pictures from the 2015/08 folder in the folder 2015/09 and we fixed the problemSince the problem of slug and geografical path happens to the same three categories and translations (FRA, spa, por, eng, rus. Ger) of GD detail elements, while the gd detail element works well in English, so I thought that the problems they are connected.
