Never mind, I’m dumb and got excited. The Linked CPT for gd_event is Places, which I don’t really use, and that makes sense because in events pages there’s the option to associate them with a place. I get it. Unrelated observation. Never mind.
Hey I just noticed something…
In the post types settings page, Events (“add listing” page works) has a Linked CPT of “Events”,
while post type CLubs (whose add listing page is fubar) has no Linked CPT.

Related question…
Is the ability to add an image no longer part of the add listing page?
I’ve hidden a LOT of fields on that page, via configuration and CSS, but never intended to hide image addition. I can’t find any place I’ve done that, and even when I delete 100% of my CSS customizations, it’s not visible. When I do a “Social Import” from Facebook it pulls through images from the event FB page which is fantastic and surprising given the lack of visible fields, but I’d like me and guests to be able to add images when filling out the form manually too.
I just checked settings and it is checked on/active.
Thanks Alex, that’s good to know. Unfortunately, I don’t think that’s the problem here, because I’m pretty sure I had this problem before activating Beaver Builder, and I know I still have it even now that I’ve de-activated Beaver Builder. Sorry.
My Add Club page still looks like this:
My Add Events page is still all good, so I got that goin’ for me. : /
Thanks, I understand that. I need my sidebar on the left, but I want maps on Geodirectory pages (which don’t seem quite so much like a sidebar) on the right.
I was hoping (and feel like think there has to be) that there might be some discrete CSS class or container I could use to get my maps back on the right even with my sidebar settings set to left.
Does that make sense? Might be impossible, but you guys seem to have a solution for everything so I figured I’d ask.

WordPress database error: [Unknown column 'wp_hxtk_geodir_gd_event_detail.event' in 'where clause'] SELECT SQL_CALC_FOUND_ROWS wp_hxtk_posts.*, wp_hxtk_geodir_gd_event_detail.* , wp_hxtk_geodir_event_schedule.* FROM wp_hxtk_posts INNER JOIN wp_hxtk_geodir_gd_event_detail ON (wp_hxtk_geodir_gd_event_detail.post_id = wp_hxtk_posts.ID) LEFT JOIN wp_hxtk_geodir_event_schedule ON ( wp_hxtk_geodir_event_schedule.event_id = wp_hxtk_posts.ID ) WHERE 1=1 AND ( ( 1=1 ) ) AND wp_hxtk_posts.post_type in ('gd_event') AND wp_hxtk_posts.post_status = 'publish' AND UNIX_TIMESTAMP( wp_hxtk_geodir_gd_event_detail.event ) <= UNIX_TIMESTAMP( '2019-01-31' ) AND ( wp_hxtk_geodir_event_schedule.start_date >= '2018-12-28' OR ( wp_hxtk_geodir_event_schedule.start_date <= '2018-12-28' AND wp_hxtk_geodir_event_schedule.end_date >= '2018-12-28' ) ) GROUP BY wp_hxtk_posts.ID, wp_hxtk_geodir_event_schedule.start_date ORDER BY wp_hxtk_geodir_event_schedule.start_date ASC, wp_hxtk_geodir_event_schedule.start_time ASC LIMIT 0, 100
And here’s the error message that appears above the search/filtration form.

Fun little followup. I tried to test what you suggested, i.e. searching by proximity then setting date parameters. I set a “To: Search By Date” of Jan 10 2019 and got this beautiful bugginess.
Crap, I guess this post is going in a new direction because I hadn’t tested those fields, but it does the same thing on ALL of my Events page, i.e. main, category or search results. I’m gonna need some expert assistance with this one, eh. : )
Sorry, I had missed that you said they’re actually being presented in order of proximity, vs. date. Personally I think that’s useless, or at least WAY less intuitive and useful than presenting them in date order. Just stack up all the events that hit within the search parameters and present them by date. That’s what people expect for events.
Oh no way, please say it ain’t so! You just HAVE to be able to present events by date instead of title even within location-specific search results. Presenting events by date is the most/only logical way to present them, at least as a default. I don’t understand why you wouldn’t do that, and why you wouldn’t allow users to pick their sorting option. It’s just as relevant/valuable on search results pages as it is on main/category pages.
Or, sigh, I guess an alternative lies in the answer to your question/suggestion about displaying “Only the first upcoming one of every event?” Because yes, that would work. At least that way the screen wouldn’t be FLOODED with umpteen instances of whatever random event that just happpens to have the first alphabetical name, pushing the rest into offscreen oblivion.
Is it possible to do that now? Or would that be easier to enable than allowing sorting by title?
Interesting. I just activated Social Importer. I was going to deactivate it because I thought it might be a variable y’all would have to consider in figuring out what’s wrong with this page, but to the contrary it seems to be the one field that appears fine on the Add Club page. So maybe that’s a clue?
I really hope we can resolve this ASAP. I’m very excited to launch my V2-powered site, and this is the only thing holding me up.
Hey Paolo, I hope you’re still with me. Sorry, but I just noticed that on my Geodirectory category and search results pages the entire MAP is on the left, with listings on the right. I think that was cached the old way until now so I hadn’t noticed. I’d prefer to have that back the way it was if that’s possible, i.e. map on the right.
C’est posible? Hope so, please and thanks.
