Lately i have been having the same problem with the editor area behaving as if its disabled. I can no longer access the content of my listed places (appears as blank but when i select i actually am able to see the content but it included embedded html code, which tells me perhaps the Text mode of the editor is active and it does not allow me to revert to the visual mode). I cannot also add featured images anymore or any image at all and the place, category and other fields below the main content are no longer working. I have disabled all plugins – even reinstalled my core wordpress without much success.
