This is a great addition. One thing I’ve noticed though is when I got to a category or subcategory page without a location specified, e.g., Restaurants at the http://www.example.com/restaurants/, looks like the default location gets pulled into the title tag, same as if you were viewing that page with a location explicitly set.
Would like to see that not included, or better, have a default setting. Since all my locations are within a county designation, I’d default all to “Restaurants – Some County | SiteName” and specific locations would then take on their location, “Restaurants – MyCity – MyRegion | SiteName”
Unfortunately, I’m not sure how to modify the code to get that.

I know it doesn’t work this way, but it would actually be better if the “clock stopped/didn’t start” in draft mode.
Example situation…you have 30 day listing sitting as a draft for Admin to review and approve, but the listing isn’t reviewed and approved for 2 days. 28 days from now that listing is going to expire or be up for renewal, and the lister is going to ask why they are only getting 28 days on a 30 day listing.
I just played around with some CSS, but you’d need to test this across the site to make sure this doesn’t affect anything else, etc., and I just did this within Firebug, so you might need to tweak the CSS to override the actual GD code, and I’m using Enfold, so not sure if this is pure GD classes….but you get the idea and it may not be any harder (and hopefully shouldn’t be) than tweaking some CSS.

Hoping to go live yet later this week, but that might still be a stretch. I have this data for a number of pre-loaded listings, so could test this with real data.

Too much ambiguity on how it works, what it means. Take a look in the comments section here for one of the best implementations of this concept.
Less confusion or uncertainty, as well as allowing someone to 1) up, 2) down and easily see how that action was recorded…count increased, and while you can’t see it unless you actually do it, the thumb changes color to blue.
Unfortunately, I think you also used to be able to re-click your selection to remove and return to neutral sentiment, but either that has been removed or I remember it wrong.

Addition….Playing with the GD demo, clicking on a thumb up increases the like count by 1, but turns it into a thumb down. Aside from that, there is only one thumb shown.

Thanks. Yeah, I’ve tried clicking all over and nothing. Looks like it is some non-functioning or conflicting JS.
FYI, I came up with the following to improve, to me at least, the reviews heading.
#gd-tabs #reviewsTab h2.comments-title span { display: inline; font-size: inherit; }I had worked out some CSS and shared on another post that changed the color of the stars (either before I realized that was built in or before it was built in) as well as making the gray background white due to the stars being white with a transparent star for the color.
For some reason that isn’t working anymore or I made changes that broke it. Either way, it might be good to make that change in GD entirely if this is more than just Enfold as the gray and white looks a little hacked together.

Additions…
When uploading files, those links don’t appear to work either to view them.
May have just been on Chrome (have been using FF for everything else), but drag and drop for commenter images didn’t seem to be working…would just load the image in the browser.
With Multi-Ratings, are the individual ratings only visible as a roll-up? Not seeing the individual ratings at the commenter level?
Hoping fixes are on their way for this part as I’m hoping to go live this week.

If you haven’t tried this all ready, try going into the GD admin > Mulltilocations > Manage locations, then hover over the edit link and try using whatever the “&id=” parameter from there.

I was looking at either the TT Social Connect or the WordPress Social Login.
The issue was less on the plugin side, more on the FB side, but may have figured that out…I was thinking you had to go through all the registration and configuration, but looking like it is just create/name an app, get the key and secret code and you are done.
If that’s the case, FB should really setup a much simpler system for just getting a couple keys than the full developer dashboard. Not sure if it’s the same as it was several years ago, but more like how easy it was to get a Google Maps API key.
Anyway, I’ll test out with the keys and see how things work.
ThanksWhile working on something else last night I accidentally deactivated and then reactivated the Enfold Child theme. I hadn’t noticed that last night as I wasn’t looking at it, but that’s the only thing I can think of.
Unfortunately, that means we also have no idea what was causing it, but at least it is fixed (hopefully permanently) now.
