Because the people can search to locations without wrong information. I see it
on Google maps that a bar in la gomera has the the address santa cruz de tenerife. thats not CORRECT.Perhaps i will write Google to fix this.

i check now 4 items on different islands.
Is it right, that i´m able to set now Tenerife – Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Las Palmas – Gran Canaria, and the other 5 Islands to Canarias?
If yes i´m happy.

thanks for support. I think you cant change it now. So perhaps we can do something for the future. The Canary Islands has every Year 15.000.000 (15Mio) Tourists every Year!! I think you agree with me if that they need good information. For example they search a Hotel on La Gomera they are confused when holi.tips say santa cruz den tenerife.
The citizens from la Gomera do not like the People from Tenerife. And also the People from Spain didn´t like the Tenerifos.
Come here and make some Holiday. At the the moment its perfect. Then you change or opinion. Just come to Tenerife – i pick you up at the Airport.
So for me its the best to hide the region work with cities.
Perhaps you have some suggestions for me.

i had read that. Thanks. And now i check it aout in wikipeadia. But its – sorry stupid. Fuerteventura is not La Plama. La Gomera is not Tenerife.
England is not Scotland. Ireland is not Wales.
Cant i create my own regions for the 7 Islands?
