Along the same WPML/event issues theme, the search does not return the events correctly even when they show on the map (English version). 6 events in France but search (English) for events in France (country) returns only 5 events.
Still have trouble with WPML & Geo Events.
Events do not show on map in a random manner despite having translated categories and assigning them properly as shown on the event list in the backend.
There is no consistency in behavior (i.e., show on the map on one language or not another). Right now, there are all showing only on the English home-map. French, Spanish, Turkish maps are a mess. I really need this to simply work…
I don’t have the loading problem on forms anymore.
However, the css file is used by the Genesis child theme and, after this action, my alternate language logo files no longer load when I switched. The switching code is in the child theme functions.php.
Also, the loading for the page increased overall by more than 2s (GTmetrix). I have 3s of hang before anything shows per the waterfall display.

January 18, 2016 at 11:37 pm in reply to: GD Booster & Gravity Forms don't play well together #69270I removed the two lines, cleared the GD cache, but it didn’t resolve the issue (logged in or out).
Yes! That does it. Everyone is happy now. Thanks.

Homepage map of secondary language still doesn’t display.
I went through each; cleaned up and verified. It doesn’t seem to work for a few of them. For example, 5 events show as 3. When the cluster is linked, the proper number of event display. Also, now the homepage map in the secondary language doesn’t display at all; just displays the spinner (something new).
Ah, cache… duh. sorry about that. Thanks.
I also tried:
add_filter( ‘login_url’, ‘my_login_page’, 10, 2 );
function my_login_page( $login_url, $redirect ) {
return home_url( ‘/connect/?redirect_to=’ . $redirect );
}It still goes to the back end for post comments.
No, that doesn’t work even when I add ‘;’ at the end of the return line.
January 11, 2016 at 3:38 pm in reply to: Event linked to business does not show on homepage map #67837That’s a relief. I will try and let you know the outcome.
January 11, 2016 at 3:03 pm in reply to: Event linked to business does not show on homepage map #67833Are you saying that events that last more than one day (as in this case) are supposed to disappear from the homepage map? That would be a real problem if people cannot identify ongoing events on the map. It renders it fairly useless.
