    We don’t monetize listings in the directory (no prize package). Does that ensure that people adding or claiming a listing will not be able to turn on ‘featured’ on their own and make it an ‘admin only’ option?

    We have a ‘story/article’ section that I was going to handle with WordPress posts. What would be the benefits, if any, of handling that under CPT?

    That event suggestion for job listings made my day, Guust 🙂

    Isn’t ‘featured’ an admin only field already? Trying to save myself… If not, then I’ll create a custom field.

    I now a clear idea of what I can do and I must say “WOW, I’m so glad to have selected you”.

    Yes, I had figure out that one this morning… sorry about that. We are close to done with website #1. The other one is from scratch and I already have learned a lot about GD so it should a little smoother.

    I am using the built-in BP login link in the menu. That takes me to the WordPress backend login instead of the Geo or Woo login page (tried both). Can you help?

    Decided to go with WPSSO responsive sharing buttons in a floating sidebar. Nice and consistent look across the website. Solves the problem.

    When I checked the ‘content’ setting for WPSSO, they too were showing inside the first tab.

    Yes. I heard you. However, I am trying to steer away from Buddypress for multiple reasons so I’m talking to UU about the problems (author & permalinks) to see if they can be resolved before resigning myself…

    Would there be any advantages with the ShareThis plugin in terms of loading scripts? Would the ShareThis plugin have the same problem with event types?

    I’d be happy to see them anywhere. Right now they appear nowhere. The code in the functions.php of the theme in use (child theme of Genesis).

    I would also prefer to see a few of the main social icons (facebook, twitter, google, email) before the share icon. Most people would miss such a icon.
