NEVERMIND! I totally got it! I think I’m just tired. That was easy! I just needed to add some fields to the sorting tab, duh… lol.
Wow, this is really coming together nicely. And, Beaver Builder is proving work REALLY GREAT with GD!
The sort options are showing in there now. At first they did show different options, like featured, but it also showed a custom field “nonprofit” at first that it didn’t show later. So, that threw me off. But, that may have just been needing to be refreshed or something. So, all is well here… 🙂
For the record, I tried another paid listing. But BEFORE I did I ran the GD>Status>tools>Listing expire check and it ran. I don’t know what that means or did but it appeared to do it’s thing.
Then I edited https://veganlinked.com/food/united-states/north-carolina/hendersonville/sanctuary-brewing-company/ and still
1. preview did not work
2. renew did not go away after updating it
3. and I also noticed that after applying discount code when I went back a second time the listing still required a discount code.Yep, just two more free listing and preview works. I tried it on another paid listing and preview doesn’t work. Must be something to do with that. I just tried it on a listing that I haven’t updated in some time and the preview did the same thing. This listing was a paid package. So, it seems the only time preview works is when it’s a free package… hmmm… not sure, but thus far that’s all i can discern…
Well, I take that back, maybe that listing worked well because it was one I haven’t tried to update yet since all this started?
I just went to one that I have tried to update since all this stuff started. I went to preview it after submitting very minor changes (added a tripadvisor url) and the preview went back to edit the listing again like demonstrated earlier in this thread. This was the listing.
https://veganlinked.com/food/united-states/north-carolina/asheville/plant/I just edited a listing that needed to be renewed and noticed two good things. 1.) the preview works now 🙂 2.) the renew link went away after updating 🙂
That was just a quick test, not very thorough, but I feel confident those things are solid now.
I did notice just now that switching packages causes the revision warning in the blue bar to come up still. I guess that’s what you meant by the “3 the warning was not looked at yet”?
Thanks, I’ll have to figure that out, what that Listing expire check is about… I’ll try to get to that tomorrow.
I’m going to try Yoast real quick. I’ve tried open graph a long time ago, I don’t recall if it is something I can make only work on the homepage because I want the listings to be shared and show their featured image, title, and description.
