Nevermind, I just found it under Affiliates/Settings/Integrations. I didn’t see that tab and the documentation didn’t show it…
Oh, you sneaky guy, that’s awesome, thanks so much!
This reply has been marked as private.I’m curious, when you said
I’ve added some code to it.
what did you mean “it”, where did you add some code? To the backend of my site? Or just through the front to see what’s up? Just curious…
Well, you’re right, now it’s working. It was the details page I was worried about, not the home page (referring to your screen shot). Nonetheless, the details page appears to no longer show author in mobile view. Thanks!
Thanks, but I can’t get it to work. I tried a few different ways, like:
@media only screen and (max-width: 600px) {
.sd-detail-author {
display:none;
}
}And some other ways entering it into GD/Design/Scripts “Custom style css code”. How do I do this exactly?
April 4, 2018 at 11:47 pm in reply to: How can I align all of this on the far left to the listing? #425008Kor, I went ahead and switched to a GD theme for now. It was taking too much time to get ET to look/work right with GD. I am currently using Supreme, thinking about Whoop though so users can add images to listings. But, I just got an email from GD talking about a new “SubVersion” released. So, I’m curious about that now… I’ll follow up later if I go back to ET and still have issues, thanks for your help!!!
And, I was signed in when I took that screen shot, but I wasn’t signed in on my phone when I noticed it. So, it shows when not signed in as well…
I see what you mean now, I didn’t realize that! There’s actually one more option than shows on that page (country and city). I suppose full location is safest… I’ll just go with that. I was thinking it would be better to have a shorter/prettier URL. But, it’s all good 🙂 Thanks for catching that!!!!!!
You cannot use that setting if you have listings in more than one region:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-permalinks/#locationWhat setting are you talking about “that setting”? I don’t understand, is there something wrong with how I have VeganLinked.com setup?
I thought the post was the listing LOLOLOLOL!!!!
Shoot, nevermind, it’s working, I’m not working mentally!
March 31, 2018 at 4:54 pm in reply to: How can I align all of this on the far left to the listing? #424336Kor, I just realized that my “add listings pages” are way too full width now:
https://veganlinked.com/add-listing/?listing_type=gd_place
https://veganlinked.com/add-listing/?listing_type=gd_food
https://veganlinked.com/add-listing/?listing_type=gd_earthlingThe dashboard is also, at least on the right:
https://veganlinked.com/author/vegan/?geodir_dashbord=true&stype=gd_placeI imagine other pages are as well, I haven’t dug through all the possibilities yet.
This reply has been marked as private.Alex, why are you telling me this? I know about the layout already. I know about widgets. I also can create a page with my own layout and use shortcode. I’ve been demonstrating that I understand this for over a week now. An you keep saying the same thing for no reason for over a week now in response to my ability to create a new page for the location page, change it in permalinks and wanting to know if there’s a way to do this for listings.
My last question (although I failed to add a question mark) was “is this suppose to work” (for the location)? and I explained that I ask because you appear to be saying it does not. And, I wanted to know if there was some other way to do this for “lists” because there isn’t a way to assign a page I create to lists via permalinks.
Now, this morning I though “geeze, i’ve been so hung up on the location and lists page I haven’t even got to the listings/details page”. So, naturally I want to know if there is a way I can create a page using Divi builder and GD shortcode (like I did for location/locale) and assign this new page to be the layout for the listing/details page. I’m assuming there is not just as there is not for the lists page. And, I’m assuming there may very well be in GDV2. Am I correct in these assumptions?
