The main buddypress pages like member list, site list, group list do not use the buddypress sidebar widget.

A plugin from WPMUDEV called Google Maps, actually geo tags all buddypress activities.
If this could somehow be linked up with WP Geolocation, it would achieve the desired results.

Now I am having the opposite issue. I cant remove the duplicate Places or Event links.
Whatever the backend admin thing is meant to be, isnt loading properly.

Ah.. thanks for the clarification.
Looks like the Whoop theme is incompatible with the WPMUDEV Terms of Service plugin.
It must be because Whoop has a non-standard wordpress login form.
