Hi Paolo,
It is happening again. Yesterday late in the evening the alert for 9 GD AddOns updates showed and I decided that I will wait until this morning to update.
Now only the update for GD multilingual was showing. I updated it and looked at the version numbers of the other GD AddOns not showing the update alert and I confirmed that the problem persists: they have not been updated but the update alert does not show.
I look forward to your news.
Thank you very much once again for your help.
Best regards.
Hi Stiofan,
Thank you very much for your reply.
I tried again and I notice that the issue does not show with Chrome and Edge browsers, but does with Firefox and Opera.
I look forward to your news.

Hi Alex,
Thank you very much for your help.
The article in your link does not include any information about links in inserted images.
I mean what you can see in the attached screenshot.
I noticed that the links work on mobile but they worked in desktop only once of many trials. I even tried different browsers without success.
Now I will restart the computer.
Best regards
March 26, 2019 at 6:21 am in reply to: WPML language selector on main menu changes position depending of language #476424Hi Alex,
WPML tech support found that there is some compatibility problem with GD CPT Tag items.
Following their instructions, I replaced the GD CPT Tag item in the last position of the main menu by a Custom Link item and the problem dissapeared: the WPML language selector now shows after it in all languages.
Best regards.

Thank you very much for your reply.
I remember that I already had difficulties understanding sorting with GD V1, and now with GD V2 I am even more confused.
What I would like to achieve is that the user can select one of two Sorting options:
1) Show the listings sorted by packages and featured in alphabetical order. That is, first the featured paid listings in alphabetical order, then the non featured paid listings in alphabetical order and then the free listings (that can not be featured) in alphabetical order.
2) Show the listings sorted by packages and featured in random order. That is, first the featured paid listings in random order, then the non featured paid listings in random order and then the free listings (that can not be featured) in random order.
Is this possible? Is this the purpose of subsorting?
In any case, I have doubts about how random sorting works with pagination, since then the system should remember which listings have been shown in each page to avoid showing them again in other pages and finish the pagination having shown all the listings.
My perception about how random sorting works is that the number of pages is calculated first from the total of listings and then the pages are populated randomly in such a way that causes that some listings are shown more than once and others are not shown.
Also, I have doubts about random order possibly conflicting with cache plugins.
I look forward to your reply.
Thank you very much for your help.
Best regards.

Thank you very much for your reply.
This is what I have done:
1) Delete de Featured Image.
2) Save the Listing.
3) Re-upload the Featured Image.
4) Save the Listing. And now it seems that the problem has been solved.
Thank you very much once again for your help.
Best regards.

Hi Alex,
Thank you very much for your reply.
I have checked the GD V1 site clone and you are right, there is not “Add media” button for listings. However, I am very sure that GD V1 had “Add media” button for listings, at least until March / April last year, when I used it for the same annual online marketing campaign for which I needed to use it now.
Just to be sure, I checked the listings from last year to which I added images in HTML fields and the images are still there in the HTML fields, although the “Add media” button does not show. Therefore, I am very sure that the button was there last year, otherwise I could not have added the images.
Please, note my last comment, as it is a serious issue too:
“The File Upload field is not duplicated by WPML when duplicating the page from the main site language to the other languages.”
I will reply your questions about the document icons as soon as possible.
I look forward to your news.
Thank you very much once again for your help.
Best regards.
