(dont take it the wrong way) hard to believe but not an issue. the already available full width template is perfect as VC is doing the rest. including widgetized area. i can highly recommend to make a test drive with it if possible it can open up a lot of option 🙂
if i would be a coder i would do my stuff that way to of course 🙂 the thing is Kleo theme is doing the same if you have a look. they have a specific home page that has the top map separated and below is the area that is left to be used with its page builder.
of course this is just an option but could be a really great addition in the future as VC is one of the well wanted/used page builder out there for wp users like myself too.
so conclusion : the available full width template works mint ! just need to be ok with a boxed map and thats it 🙂

already did so but the main map (gd home top widgets) are limited to normal boxed width.
i can send you the latest VC files to test/play. The new plugin is rapidly faster than before 🙂

the only thing missing now is the actual MY places or something like that button. Soo on mobile and even on desktop if you use the loginbox widget there is a log out, add new “something” and my invoices (at the moment) but on mobile / different theme there is no my places/events/whatevere button. as the top right admin bar widget is GDF specific widget that takes you to your dashboard.
What i would suggest is to chance the loginbox widget up a little bit
login as usual nothing to do with it/
after logged in :my dashboard /my invoices / my whatever / (if bbpress enabled) my profile ?
AND when user is on dashboard there is the add new something button.
what do you think ? possible logical improvement for the user login widget ? 🙂

yes it is a great theme i used it for a long time now for magazine/community.
dont know the answers sorry….i just managed to get the programer to sort out the styling issues.the theme does deliver speed even with a lot of active users on the site (tested it upto 143 active visitor at the same time)
also it is fully integrated styles for buddypress bbpress and even userpro etc.
the ad manager works great btw with view counter etc in the admin panel
well had the chance to test Kleo before purchase but all i managed to do is mess up my website 🙁
would look great otherwise.
honestly need a lightweight childtheme for GDF that looks “new”…im a buyer right away 🙂

just started to use Avada to test it. like the “updated” look and feel i miss from GDF but it is indeed overwhelming a bit on hosting.
had a look on kleo’s demos and it looks nice! for me personally this is the ONLY flaw i can think of of GD…GDF is outdated in look and feel while GD is on the top with functions and support.
Im worried about the themes as my 2nd site supposed to have 1000s of visitors a week after its first half a year.

ok not an issue 🙂 if so is there any blog post/tutorial how to create for example a real-estate post type so it can be replicated and used the same way to every other CPT ? 🙂

can i do the same with the coordinates too (under the map) so user can’t mess up the coordinates?
can you please give me the code for that too ? 🙂 would be great to have bit more admin control in the listing creation form without coding skillz 🙂

1. should be normal default colourful map
2. should be like on the snapshot…relatively emptyi got a feeling this is not possible 😀
thank you but no. I mean the actual map itself should not have the other countries on it…just like the line of borders but the map for the other countries should not load any images.
for example you go to UK but if zoomed out the gmaps will load the images for France and Germany and others too. What i would need is that UK loads up properly as usual and any other countries are just borders only(lines) but left empty saving a lot on loading up the map up.
OR Hungary has a lot of neighbours so the map is very “busy” for the eyes. but if only Hungary is showing up and anything around it is just plain colour with border lines it would be a lot better.

I have no programing knowledge so it is not going to be solved for a while…:/
peepso is still very young BUT growing nicely. the overall look and functionality is why its better BUT it is also a membership based business too. the basic bit is free and the rest is based on payments…i think you know the business model 🙂 also it is not on the main page for recommended plugins in WP plugins while BP is…that is making it a bit harder. anyways it will be interesting to see it in a year as they improve it rapidly.
for flipbook i can post the files in private for testing purposes just need an email address.

-on full width page template how can i disable page title ?
-how to have the map widget on listing details on top section ? it is only a small square in size right now if i do so…Thank you
Not yet as for community i will need peepso (works with/next to bbpress out of the box). also peepso is growing rapidly for wordpress. (they are the guys and girls from jomsocial for joomla so they know 100% what the aim is)
1.here is the snapshot of the only issue i found so far with bbpress. the site you sent isn’t responsive for what it looks like so i cant test it the same way on mobile.
2.will make a snapshot when i have the chance today 🙂
3.when i add a category to main menu and view post by that specific category this is on the top of the page. i mean it is obvious if i see the post has the “filed under” too with cat name so can this be removed or anything ? 🙂
