#1 I believe you are referring to this map marker beside the category as shown in this screenshot http://prntscr.com/f0oqzs . You can create a “category” without a map marler, but you can insert a transparent image and I’ve attached it on this reply.

#4 You can change the “tabs” to “List view” using this option http://prntscr.com/f0osbu . It’s inside GD > Design > Detail.
