Hi Peter,
Sorry to hear about that. Could you please share WP temp admin access to your site so we can take a better look? You can post the details here using the private reply option below.
Thanks!
You’re Welcome. Let us know if you need anything else.
Hi Guy,
Try this one instead. Let us know how it goes.
.gd-search-input-wrapper.gd-search-field-cpt:nth-child(1) { display:none!important }Hi Siti,
Thanks for sharing the screenshot. That looks like a plugin conflicting with GD. Could you try deactivating all non-gd plugins and see if it fixes it? If the issue persists, please share WP temp admin access to your site so we can take a better look. You can post the details here using the private reply option below.
Thanks!
Hi Debasis,
I’ve just tested the search form on your Website and it is working fine. Here’s a screenshot of the result when I searched for “Mumbai” using the location field http://prntscr.com/eoxfv9 . Could you tell us a little bit more about the issue? Or do you mind listing down the steps in order to recreate the issue?
Furthermore, I’d like you to go through this section of the documentation as it explains more about how search works in GD https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/gd-search/
Thanks!
Hi Simon,
Sorry, but the latest version is 1.6.17. Could you double check? Meanwhile, could you try disabling all non-gd plugins and see if it fixes the issue there? If the issue persists, please share WP temp admin access to your site so we can take a better look. You can post the details here using the private reply option below.
Thanks!

Hi Guy,
I’m able to see it now. I’d like you to try using this custom CSS and see if it works. Insert into GD > Design > Scripts > Custom Style CSS
.search_by_post option[value=gd_event] {display: none;}Thanks!
Hi Frank,
Yes, that’s correct. you’ll have to clear the cache everytime you make any changes or reduce the expiration time as shown in this screenshot http://prntscr.com/eow4qh and here’s the section of the documentation https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/gd-booster-add-on-overview/
Thanks!
Hi Cappy,
Thanks for sharing and I’m glad that you sorted it out yourself.
Hi Guy,
I’ve just checked the search dropdown menu and I can’t find the “Event” CPT http://prntscr.com/eon5qt . Did you remove it already?
Thanks!
Hi Mike,
I’m going to forward this to a developer and he will look into this on Monday. At the meantime, have you tried deactivating all non-gd plugins and see if it fixes the issue there? Also, I’m able to see an error on the console saying that you have included “Google Maps API multiple times on this page. This may cause unexpected errors.” . You might want to check on that.
Thanks!
