Thank you for hearing my opinion. I will be waiting for the new version to be released. In the meantime the feature isn’t working properly, I’d like to hide the near search feature from visitors. I would also like to hide the “Near: My Location” feature. This will help to avoid misunderstandings with the list of wrong category buttons. Then I will be ready to launch the site in operation. Can you help solve this issue?

The plugin only turns off the country’s flag. Could you check what the problem is?
August 27, 2019 at 1:39 pm in reply to: Categories that are not in the location must be hidden in the list #505148By the way, this feature also does not work well on the demo site https://wpgeo.directory/gdf/location/near/gps/48.856614,2.3522219000000177/ I’m looking for Houston and I’ve got a list of category buttons that the site doesn’t give the user the results they expect when they’re clicked on. At the same time, we can see on the map that the search result for Houston is zero. Don’t you think it’s strange? It is even more strange that after the search we do not see anywhere what settlement we were looking for, but only see the title of the page “Location”.
What should the user understand by “Near: GPS Location”?

August 27, 2019 at 1:18 pm in reply to: How can I reset the search filter when changing languages? #505143The thing is, I need to hide the WPML widget on certain pages, not languages. Do I need to use an additional plugin for this? Would you advise which plugin to use?
August 27, 2019 at 1:15 pm in reply to: Categories that are not in the location must be hidden in the list #505141Good afternoon! I’ll continue with the question. I noticed that the GD_Locations shortcode does not correctly list the category buttons. This is provided that the user has entered a location near the one for which there are no listings. The example is “Paris” https://dev.verni.com.ua/location/near/gps/48.856614,2.3522219000000177/. GD_Locations shows a list of category buttons for which all countries are listed on the site. This is error, is it? After all, GD_Map shortcode does not have such an error. How can I fix this?
August 27, 2019 at 1:01 pm in reply to: How can I reset the search filter when changing languages? #505134Kiran, thank you for the answer! And can I make it possible to control the language switch widget GD in the sidebar? I mean, some GD widgets can be disabled for pages where they shouldn’t be displayed.
August 26, 2019 at 9:38 am in reply to: How can I reset the search filter when changing languages? #504899I’m also wondering if I can hide the language switch on some pages. In this case – on the search page.

Thank you for explaining. I agree with you. I was wrong.
Regarding your recommendation: Unfortunately, I can’t use GD Locations widget or shortcode because I’m changing the map language and changing the addresses in the listings to match the active language. Therefore, GD Locations displays several city names in different languages, which is not good.
Let’s close this question. I will continue to design with the existing functionality.
August 23, 2019 at 12:21 pm in reply to: Categories that are not in the location must be hidden in the list #504563I suggest in the next update that the list of categories be dynamically changed according to the location. This is very convenient and informative for the visitor to the site.
Please see for example: the Maldives country https://telehaus.com.ua/country/maldives/?region-id=81- has 3 categories in the Services filter. Atoll Baa region https://telehaus.com.ua/country/maldives/?region-id=210&services%5B%5D=0# – in the filter of 2 categories.
August 23, 2019 at 11:11 am in reply to: Categories that are not in the location must be hidden in the list #504557I know that you can use the category short code to show which categories are relevant to the active location. Is there no way to do this in the filter list?
