    Hi,

The session has been fixed and your session test works fine now. However the problems 1 and 3 still persist.

Could you also please provide me a response to item 2 on reply #386219.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Thanks for looking into this. There are still several issues with the search function.

    1. When I use the location switcher on the menu, for example specifying a region (Shah Alam), it takes me to the Shah Alam Page (Pic 1). However, when I use the search, and hit search, for example looking for cafes in Shah Alam, the location resets to global (pic 2) and it returns all cafes in the database.
Is this a bug? How can I ensure that once the region (or country, or state) has been set, the results from the search are restricted to the listings with the specific region (or country, or state)

    2. On the GD Home Page, how can I set that the ‘Near’ field is mandatory (Pic 3) for the search, e.g. I do not want someone searching for a dentist without specifying the ‘Near’, and the results being all dentists in the database (Pic 4).

    3. I have not disabled the google autocomplete for the address search (Pic 5), but when I start typing into the input field, there is no autocomplete or dropdown (like what Yelp has) (Pic 6 and Pic 7)

I believe I have provided you with my admin login previously. Please let me know if you need clarifications on the above issues.

    Thanks for your help.

    Nithi
