Could you tell me where I can remove the ‘Change Location’ dropdown from the header please? It doesn’t appear to be in the Navigation settings you have described.

Thank you, that makes sense but seems overly complicated and convoluted. Far simpler would be to just allow all post types on the same map! Surely performance is affected by the total number of listings on a map not the number of different post types?
Why not look into enabling it as an option then individual users can decide whether performance is adversely affected or not? Without this feature, custom post types is not a very useful plugin.
That’s a shame. Is there any way at all to relate different post types to each other geographically? For example on a listing page for a Type A item/place is it possible to show nearby Type B items/places?
The site I am using this for is based on Lakes used for fishing. Lakes are a custom post type as they have specific fields such as fish species, depth, rules etc, but I want to be able to show nearby places such as hotels, restaurants and shops which are all categories of ‘Places.’ How can I do this?
