    Hi,

Thank you for your prompt reply!

Yes, this works better. However, now the pictures are kind of small on the desktop version of the website. How can I make the image larger on the detail page (desktop version) and size the rest of the content with in line with the image.

I updated all of the plugins besides the main GeoDirectory plugin. Updating the main plugin breaks my website. I think there are some conflicts with the AVADA theme.

Also, I would like to display the name/title of the listing below the image slider on the detail page of the listings and I still can’t figure out how to display the hours of operations. It is marked to show in the settings, but it doesn’t.

    Thanks,

    Marc

    Hi Kor,

    Thanks for your help!

    1. I used the code you provided. The content is now centered and covers the whole page. However, due to the width, the images are now heavily cropped and don’t show well anymore. Is there a way to change the height/size of the images to display them more proportional?

    2. The code you provided just gets rid of the taxonomies and centers the “Description” title.
I would like to display the listing title under the images instead of the taxonomies.
I tried to add another text field with the title in the “place settings” tab, but for some reason I wasn’t able to make it show on the detailed listing page.
I also noticed that one of the other fields, “Hours of Operations” doesn’t show on the page.
Could you please take a look?

I provided the login info in one of my previous comments in case you want to take a look at the settings.
I have backed up the website.

    Thanks for your help!

    Best regards,

    Hi again,

I figured out how to make most of the design changes myself and I got the drop down menu to work again, so please disregard my previous messages.

The only thing left that I need help with is the following:

    1. I can’t figure out how to center the content on the detail pages on the desktop version of the website. The mobile version looks the way I want it to look (https://www.leisurecard.com/places/united-states/florida/lake-worth/restaurants-bars/city-whiskey/)

    2. Instead of showing the taxonomy selections below the images on the detail page, I would like to show the title of the listing (centered) below the images. (https://www.leisurecard.com/places/united-states/florida/lake-worth/restaurants-bars/city-whiskey/)

Could you please provide me with the CCS code to make the changes?

    Thank you in advance!

    Best regards,

    Marc

    Hi,

I was actually able to change the GD Home Content section to the “Grid3” view by deleting the old widget and replacing it with a new one.

Could you please still assist me with the other items?

I also just noticed that the drop-down menu to select the different categories doesn’t work anymore on the mobile version of the website. When selecting a category on the mobile device, the website displays a 404 message. I have made some changes to the “Custom Post Types” section and changed the naming convention from “places” to partner-listings.” Not sue if that is causing the error. Selecting the categories woks fine on the desktop version of the website.

Please help. I do not want to revert the website to an earlier backup, as I have made a ton of changes before I noticed the error. I have tried to revert back to the latest backup point and the issue remains.

    Thank you in advance!

    Best regards,

    Marc

It would be awesome if we could decrease the margins of the “grid3” view on the mobile version to look like in the screenshot linked below.

    Thanks,

    Marc

By the way, I deleted the code provided in your last comment again from the website.

    Hi Tor,

Thank you for your prompt reply!

The code that you sent me fixes the view on the desktop, but it changed the view on the mobile version of the website too by dividing the screen in 3 columns, which makes the content too small for the mobile screen. Please see the image attached below for details. The mobile version should look somewhat similar to what the “grid3” view looks like now, except that I would like the text of the “special offers” to be left aligned. https://www.leisurecard.com/partner-listings/
Please also see the 2. screenshot attached below for details.

Could you please provide me with code to fix items 2 & 3 from my last comment? You can pretty much disregard my previous comments, as I have fixed a lot of the thinks mentioned.

    Thanks,

    Marc

    Hi Kor,

    Thank you for your help!

I figured out how to resolve most of the issues I had.

    However,

    1. I am still not able to set the “Grid3” view for the GD Home Content section. The “Popular Post View” widget is set to “Grid 3” view, but it still does not show on the website.

    2. I was not able to figure out how to center the content on the detail page, or how to left align the text for the mobile version of the website. All settings are set to “left align,” but the text still shows as centered. I tried to make the changes using custom CCS code, but unfortunately, I was unsuccessful (everything looked good when making the changes in the code inspector, but the changes don’t show on the website when inserting the code).

    3. Instead of showing the taxonomy selections below the images on the detail page, I would like to show the title of the listing (centered) below the images.

Could you please provide me with the CCS code to make the changes, or make the changes for me?

    Thank you in advance!

    Best regards,

    Marc
