These numbers keep showing up in Place Tags for some reason.
Hi,
I see. What is interesting is if I upload one image, that one goes into the media library.
It seems to add a number in front of the image. Does that sound right?
What is a best practice? Should we add the main image per listing first for all and then later go back and add the remaining images?
Should we pre-upload and then link to images in the bulk upload?

Paolo, I understand. I have to work within this framework, sorry. Staging server makes all the sense in the world .. but we only have so much resources. But I think I will work on that for the long term.
Still what you and Gusst say makes sense, I just installed Locations Manager plugin and created those other cities.
Will try importing now. Thanks for all your help and sorry to bother.

Hi Guust, thanks for the feedback.
Here’s the issue. My CSV would not upload no matter what I did. BUT .. but once I changed the city name (in the listings) to identical name I have as my Default Location, only THEN did it work.
However what if I need to add a listing of a business in a city next door? Different than my default .. how do I get the Import to work then?

Sorry .. yes I saw you replying to others and we waited .. just that we tried many things and were in need of help.
We have committed big to GeoDirectory recently and yes the expectation was something else. We will adjust accordingly … thanks for your valued support.
We have been exporting using Google Docs because in the past Open Office requirements worked there. We are now downloading this application so we can import, then export a CSV file .. and we will try the importing again into your platform.
I will be sure to report back ASAP so hopefully if there’s an issue, I will get in your queue sooner rather than later. Thanks again!
Do the commas in the tags field or the content fields affect anything? You would figure they’re ok in there because of content however I deleted them, re-uploaded them and still get the same error.
Is there anyone that can help us with this issue?
