Thank you for the reminder. I created the listing before I created the category. I will go back and edit to add the category. Kind regards, happy holidays.

I will change later today. I am still trashing my triplicate uploads.. it’s like writing on the chalk board “I will not uplaod the same .cvs file again 2,000 times.. Except in this case I am having to delete page by page.. lol. Oh well.. I get to practice my classical guitar in between.. kind regards,
another pic. Ok.. now I get it.. I thought that they would inherit the parent category. Ok.. so now I will add category and “ypdate” existing golf course listings. Thank you.
What does it mean? “Select category to untick by default on the home map.”
In the GD/Map/ Show/Hide Post Type and Category on Map no items are checked (ticked)
Under Custom Post Types gd_golf_course it has a default image. (see img)
Update. I found one error with the lat/long and fixed it and I forgot to input the column post_category.
PRESTO! YIPPIE! That was the problem. Now onto the next 249,000… lol
Kind regards, sorry to have started the ticket.. the eyes get tired staring at all the data and looking for errors..
But now.. The default image is not working with Golf Course at http://whatshappeningtoday.com nor are the maps.
Great. I have slowed down now and want to get a mastery on this importing and exporting.
Thank you for the examples. The link for finding the lat/lon is very helpful as I have the locations address but not the lat/lon and this site you referred me to is of great help. http://www.latlong.net/
Ok.. so if I set “address not required” and… they provide and address will it still show up on the map with the listing? Or is this a silly question?

Ok.. I may have found the problem. In the CPT settings for Night Clubs the “column” geodir_video” is only in the CPT settings once!
When I export a Night Club .csv the “geodir_video” has “two” columns. Is this a glitch?
Hello again. So I deleted the entire CPT post and started from scratch. I can get the GD to acknowledge the data but it still will not import. I have gone through each column.
I believe it may be a “date” format issue. Is this possible? What day, month, year format are we suppose to use or does it even make a difference?
for example.. should it be Year/Month/Day? or Year-Month-Day or Day/Month/Year or Day-Month-Year. going on week five now.. this import issue is startling.
I have been saving the file / filter as Western Euro latin. I am going to try the utf8 and see if that gets it done. Comma delimit3ed.
