May 27, 2016 at 9:25 pm in reply to: Changing LISTING menu text, plus aligning Categories and Pin Size #199387Hi Stiofan,
Couldn’t get that to work, so as a hack I’ve commented out $style = ‘style=”display:none;”‘; in geodirectory_advance_search_function.php
I can now style through CSS.
Thanks for your help!

I think I’m getting there!
What’s the right syntax to add the parameter to the widget?
I’ve tried the following but it doesn’t seem to work.
echo do_shortcode(‘[gd_advanced_search data-show-adv=”always”]’);
Thanks,
SimonMay 25, 2016 at 8:33 pm in reply to: Changing LISTING menu text, plus aligning Categories and Pin Size #198135I wasn’t asking you to do it. I was just asking where the relevant code is so that I can look at this myself.
May 25, 2016 at 12:40 pm in reply to: Changing LISTING menu text, plus aligning Categories and Pin Size #197865On the site I’m creating people will want to quickly jump through different categories. I don’t want them having to click the cog and then choose the category. I want categories drop down to replace the the ‘Search for’ box so that it’s quick and seamless.
Please see example attached.
If I know where the code is located I can swap the code for one fields with the other.
May 25, 2016 at 12:22 pm in reply to: Changing LISTING menu text, plus aligning Categories and Pin Size #197822Thanks for your response Guust. I shall change Listing to Show Me.
Can you please let me know where the code for search and advanced search is located to save me trawling through it.
I literally want to replace “search for” where you can type something to search with the category drop down.
May 25, 2016 at 10:54 am in reply to: Changing LISTING menu text, plus aligning Categories and Pin Size #197767The category filter could possibly work. Is this and the standard search boxes located in functions.php?
I could possibly replace one with the other and hide the rest through CSS.
Thanks,
