I have the snippet in place that took the date and time of event out of the sidebar and put it into a tab. That works fine. The date and time tab resides under the reviews (last tab). Which was fine in tab view but not fine in list view. Now I want it under profile.
The snippet I am referring to is in my first post on this thread.
Unless there is a better way, I think what I need to do is follow the instructions for “Different orders only for 1 Custom Post Type”, replacing gd_place with gd_events, and using the $tab_array[‘event_schedule’] from above snippet for the tab I want to move, correct?
I will give you the details you asked for in next post.

I am getting more confused now :).
Unless things have changed considerably, the snippet I have for the “tab” date and time” needs to remain. Maybe it stays as it’s own snippet and has nothing to do with what I am asking here.

Can you start me out on how I am trying to rearrange “tabs” in events, with date and time being below profile? If you can give me the first two…profile and date and time, I can figure out the rest.

Yes, I mentioned that I looked at that page. So what you are saying is, the order in which the tabs (code for) is entered is the order they show on the detail page? I am just looking to change the order for the events page. Don’t I need the code that I have added that moves the time, which by default shows in the sidebar?
In example: “Different orders only for 1 Custom Post Type” and I want the custom tab (time n date) after profile,
I would use this code, add my custom code second in string, change out all reference of gd_place to gd_events in the rest of the code, and it will work?

Thanks for the explanation on how it works. BUT, I am still a little confused… where you say:
“When the listing preview confirmed during add listing process, it creates listing entry in database with status(default new listing status). It also creates entry for invoice and redirect to checkout page.

The email is sent same time once listing is submitted by the user.”Either way, online pay or pay be check are options on checkout page, so why would one get an email notice and not the other?
What language files would I look to to add some additional info above the confirm listing preview? Still in Payment Manager?

Hi Alex, will add on the requests, and I find it interesting… I have “pay by check” as a payment option also, I went ahead and paid by check (of course I need to send the check :)), but I never got an email notice for this “purchase”. Did not get one as admin either. Is this normal? And/but I still see the unpaid invoice in my user area for this transaction.
Go back and edit (or whatever to call it), I am pretty much using all of the plugins and I’m imagining it taking me back to the edit page of the listing I am about to pay for (or maybe the review page). There is no option to “get out” of the checkout page. Yes, I would love to think that everyone will just go ahead and pay, but, I, myself, have been ready to pay for something on shopping sites, only to decide to change my order before I checkout. Does this make sense?

Thanks for the tip. Interestingly, if I choose “Enable Selected City”, I do not see Waimea as one of them.
Once I merged them and changed out any listings on site that had Waimea as the city, I went to database and did not see any reference to Waimea in wp_geodir_post_location table, where I had seen reference before merging.
What I did notice, and still do even after merging, is reference to Waimea in the table wp_geodir_term_meta…. location_name
I checked “This will stop the address suggestions when typing in address box on add listing page.” under “Add listing form settings”, and then went to edit a listing where the city was the default, Kamuela. When I moved the marker on map to correct location, it changed the city to Waimea, though I had merged the 2 an hour prior. I changed the city back to Kamuela before saving post, and Waimea is not showing under Manage Locations, but obviously reference to it somewhere.
BUT, I super like the auto fill option! so much easier.
What I am trying to figure out is why auto fill defaults to Waimea for this town, instead of the primary Kamuela.
Both of these options:
“Disable set address on map from changing address fields” and “Disable move map pin from changing address fields” have glaring red warning “Highly recommended not to enable this.”I guess a question might be, what is considered a small directory? what is considered large?
Any other great ideas :)? and thanks so much for your time…

In this case, the city names (for the same town :)) are kamuela and waimea, so entirely different then just a misspell or a different order of a name. I guess I will just have to live with it? Is there anyway I can force it to default to the default city designated?

Thanks for the tip to not set address. How do I go about changing the text in the “set address button” to let users know not to set address? Or above the set address button?
Regarding merging. I do not go back and try to edit the listing address. The “deleted” city shows up again when I go to edit the location on other listings. So then I am back to having both city names at backend GD/ML/manage listings. I think the alternate city name is being added via google maps??? Could this be?
