found it while looking for something else! resolved.
Ok, thank you for this! But, I still cannot see the CPT categories in left sidebar from main nav links Places To Eat, Places To Stay, The Arts in Chrome and Edge. This hasn’t changed.
And oddly, after ticking “Don’t filter for current viewing post type”, just to see what it does, if I click “vacation rentals” under Places to Stay in main nav (dropdown), the sidebar shows the category/subcategories for “places”, which I have named “Marketplace”, not Places to Stay, in Chrome or Edge. I unticked it, saved, and yet they still show. Sigh!!!
What do you see? Which browser are you using?

July 21, 2016 at 9:52 pm in reply to: Message if paypal payment is cancelled and returns to site from paypal #231594got it thanks. I’ve just never dealt with po and mo files before. One can not make the changes to language.php file and add it in proper folder in child theme?
child theme/geodir_payment_manager/language.php ?

found the code to redirect wp-login to gd-login in post: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/redirect-from-default-login-page/
perfect, thank you all so much!
got it, thanks Guust
Wow, thank you so much!! It works well! This seems to be an issue many folks face according to searches for this, I was never able to find anything that worked.
I cannot seem to duplicate the logout issue I had when I wrote.
Thanks again, very much appreciated.
Edited: But now, …/wp-login.php does not redirect to gd-login as it did trying your previous code… always something, heh :)?

Ok, I think I’m getting it. There is no dashboard page at all is there, only by using the login widget in sidebar is one able to see their “dashboard”, correct?
And if so, also, if a user clicks on one of their listings from the “dashboard” in sidebar, once on that listing’s page there is no way to access their “dashboard” unless the login widget is on every listing’s page or they hit the back button, correct?
Just trying to understand here…
Thanks!Hi Guust, thanks for the reply.
I am logged in as a subscriber (user). I click on my listings in the login widget and, yes, a page comes up showing them depending on which CPT(category) I choose. But once on the page of my listings in this certain CPT, if I click on the dashboard link in the breadcrumbs, I am sent to a page that shows the default GD “places” category, in my case named Marketplace, as title, and in the page body it says “No listings found which match your selection”. So, the dashboard link in the breadcrumbs is not going to the dashboard where I can then see the form to view my other listings, or add a listing or…
URL ending of page where I can see listings that I have in CPT Community: …/author/micki/?geodir_dashbord=true&stype=gd_places_to_stay
URL of where I end up if I click on the dashboard link in breadcrumbs, where I have no listings: …/author/micki/?geodir_dashbord=true&stype=gd_place
I am not expecting (or wanting) to to go to another author’s page, I’m wanting to see mine, logged in as a subscriber.
Are you saying that only if they are claimed listings, the dashboard link in the breadcrumb will show my listings? Otherwise not?
Clear as mud?
