Thank you, Guust, I just posted a request on that thread.
Hi Stiofan,
In addition to limiting words or characters in listing description, please also add the same limit options for listing tags. I would like to limit zero character for listing description and tags on free packages to minimize abuse.
I don’t like free listings with contact information (phone number, website, etc.) in their description and tags especially when I am using the tag cloud widget. Or maybe an on/off switch for description and listing tags in price/package settings page if this is an easier approach.
I hope you can still squeeze this in. Thank you so much.
Thank you, Guust. I get your point. I am still looking forward to a quote from developers might see this thread.
Anyway, one thing I can think of as an alternative is to have an admin option to limit or completely disable listing description and tags on free packages and only allow listing title and address and probably 1 image.
Or have an admin option to limit to zero the description and tag character and prompt the user to upgrade to one of the paid packages.
Did someone already submitted a similar request?

Hi Stiofan,
Where exactly (or what file) in the child theme should I add the code? Will this be implemented anyway in the next release?
Hello,
Just checking if someone is willing to give a quote on forcing payments on claimed listings. I have a few pending GD sites that need this option.
I will also ask around.
There’s an option at the backend to limit the number of Active countries that show up in the autocompleter. I think it eliminates issues like similar city names in different states and/or countries.
Feel free to contact me via the site’s contact form if you like to discuss it further. 🙂
BTW, I agree with Paolo that a solution for one might be a nightmare to another one that’s why I shared the site to show everyone that having multiple search options (including the autocomplet dropdown that purpleedge just share here) might be good solution. I am not saying it’s perfect. I just want to share my thoughts.
Lol…
Thank you, Purple for nailing it. 🙂
Thank you for sharing s2member, Guust. I wonder if you can also have different membership levels linked to different GD price packages.
For example, Basic membership can only have the listings with limited features.
Fixed! Thank you, Simone for the quick response. I just noticed the bottom margin of the same widget is bigger. Is that the proper design?

Hi Guust,
It did sorted itself when I deactivated another plugin. 🙂
